How to run i7-8700’s iGPU on 10.14? What ig-platform-id should I use? I have upgraded clover and Keats.
You can either leave it blank or use 0x3E920000
I have used many configurations and didn’t work. I have back to High Sierra because somebody told me, that it will not work. It needs to be patching, I mean, framebuffer or something like that has to be patched though WhatEverGreen. It was a little bit difficult to me 🙁
I’m having the same pain. Have given up for now and rolling back to High Sierra.

GEFORCE 1080
You do need to patch the framebuffer and remove a number of graphical related things from config.plist to use 0x3E920000 in 10.14. If you are using Coffee Lake you can get away with leaving both that and FakeID blank. What is your configuration? If you upload your EFI somewhere I have a Gigabyte and ASUS Z370 motherboard I can test it on.
My motherboard is AsRock Z370 Fatality K6 Gaming. The rest of config is: i7-8700k, 16 GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MHz, Samsung M2 960 EVO 500 GB and TP-Link T9E.
I have got also Nvidia GTX1080 but at the moment I have decided to switch to iGPU. I will put it back when Nvidia release a stable webdrivers. I would be happy to run iGPU with Mojave.
Here is my EFI:

@hackintosher, can you make a guide explaining?
Can you please post a new guide on how to fresh install Mojave release version on a hackintosh? Awaiting your well written detailed guide on the same.
I followed your guide and installed 10.13.2 and it worked flawlessly with fcpx and Adobe. (Coffeelake – RX560) but last week by mistake I clicked update on the update notification that pops up on the top right and ever since 10.13.6 my hackintosh freezes every 15 minutes and I need to restart. Apple boot screen takes 5 minutes to load as well!! Decided to wait and fresh install Mojave to fix all this..
Thank you!
Trying to install but can’t boot into mojave installer
if i update all kexts will it be safe to update from appstore?
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia –volume /Volumes/Hackintosher –applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app –nointeraction
– thats the right spirit!
I downloaded the OS, during the install it rebooted 3 times.
On the 4th reboot it gave me a no go. I did a hard shutdown and started back up.
On booting up, it got locked up trying to register with Apple. I did another hard shutdown, and then it booted up without any issues.

Hi Hackintosher:
The “Guide to fresh installing macOS Mojave on a Hackintosh” was post on July.
I just wondering are there any new updates or things need to be aware for fresh install?
should i follow the old post or waiting for new post?
Thanks
It’s possible to upgrade certain 15″ 2009 MacBook Pros, such as mine, which is running it flawlessly. For information on the specific models and patches needed to do so, for Sierra through Mojave, check out this website: http://dosdude1.com/software.html
usb 3.0 ports do not work after update 10.4.1, help solve the problem. Asus Z370 Prime-P.
Name: com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI
Find: 83 FB 0F 0F 83 8F 04 00 00
Replace: 83 FB 0F 90 90 90 90 90 90
at least makes the ports usable no idea how to fix the port speed to usb 3.0
What I did find out that if I use my USB-C port I do get the full speed interface.
