hello good day. for the past 3 days i've been trying to fix and patch
the graphics on my surface pro 3 running mojave.
when i finally got some succes. with the help of a friend
it turns out it runs fine with first party apps.
but with 3rd party apps like chrome the bottom half of the screen...
no this machine does not have mac os..
i'm only using clover to boot into windows on a nvme drive.
since my motherboard does not support booting from nvme (legacy bios)
i tried entering the uuid in clover configurator but it stil doesnt auto boot the ssd
hello good day.
i'm using clover to allow my old system to boot from a nvme drive.
but to boot my nvme drive. i have to attach a old keyboard to click enter (for some reason my gaming keyboard turns off whenever its in the bootloader. but a "dumb" keyboard and my mouse work fine)
sorry for the delay.
i used the patches you have applied to the config. but changed the sm bios back to the macbook pro. and followed the guide linked. so far no issues in regards of graphics.
usb is still a bit messed up. no webcam nor bluetooth. (i disabled usb 3 controller with no change)...
okay i've got some updates.
i updated mojave to the latest version and the graphical glitches came back.
i followed a guide with addition to your files and i got it fixed. altho stil no web cam or bluetooth in the usb sections. going to check that now
thats odd. i would've sworn that i've had it on atleast 120 hz before when my main rig was being build.
anyways not a big deal as my laptop wont be used on this screen
sorry for my absence this week. i had someone stay over my place and it made me a bit less active
okay i've managed to run some more tests and stuff.
for some reason the bluetooth usb connection has completely disappeared. same as with the webcam.
i could try to swap the wifi card to any of the 2 other free mpcie slots.
also i've noticed a external hdmi screen has some minor issues.
so recently my 900 watt psu shorted a mosfet to 240 ground.. a loud bang and a temporary 650 watt corsair psu later i noticed some odd behaviour in mac os since the shut down.
at random it would just. shut down.
then it would reboot back in mac os. (mac os saying a system error occurred)
hello. i got my 7700k rig all running and now just starting to slowly optimize the overall usage.
and now i just found out there is such at thing in stock mac os as using 2 audio outputs as once.
now i have 2 speaker systems connected (both work both have a special use case)
but i have about 6...
no hurries ^^
I've also seemed to notice my battery status isn't always being updated. sometimes it will get stuck on lets say 68% and if I plug it in it won't update it's charging. it won't go higher or lower.
so I've done that.. and damn a lot of virtual usb devices show up..
in the zip is also the IO REG
I have however noticed the graphical glitches have disappeared and I played some games and they all ran fine without artefacts
it also seems like the webcam has disappeared even tho the changes...
