I was thinking about Hackintoshing my old-ish laptop. It has an Intel Core i3 running at 1.80 Gigahertz and 4.0 gigahertz of RAM. I was wondering if the computer is good enough to even run Hackintosh at an ok speed. Also, my computer is touch screen, would that work with the Hackintosh.

Here is a link to what I think is the exact same model laptop I have for reference: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Q200E-BSI3T08-Windows-i3-3217U-Processor/dp/B00BKRMMUS

Thanks for the help!

Yes it is possible to hack this Ivy Bridge laptop.

it uses an Intel HD 4000 IGPU, so theoretically can run anything from Mountain Lion up to Catalina.

you would be advised to find a guide or post for this or a similar Q200E Asus system. As the trackpad etc may need a specific kext.

No the touchscreen will not work with macOS.

I could not seem to find an install guide for the laptop I have I was wondering if you could help me make a good EFI folder. I think I am going to go only to Mojave for now.

Thank You!

In Verbose it says "ACPI Error: 13 table load failures, 0 successful"
