I am trying to do a freash install 10.13.6 onto an older machine I have.
I get the following message:
This version of OS X is not supported on this platform
Mac-AA95B1DDAB278895
I have searched this and most result refer to SMBIOS being used incorrectly
I have tried MacPro4,1 MacPro5,1 iMac15,1 iMac16,1 iMac17,1 iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS variations
I have tried using Open Core 0.5.7 and 0.6.3 as i read OC stopped supporting High Sierra from 0.5.7 (though I dont know how true that is).
I have sucessfully installed 10.15.7 (OC 0.6.3) and 11.0.1 (OC 0.6.4) on other machines no problem.
I did have it working properly with clover originally for a few years, but I mistakenly wiped it recenlty and have become more in tune with Open Core, so trying stay down that route.
But I am stumped here.
Machine Spec:
Intel Core i7 7800X, S 2066, Skylake-X, 6 Core
Asus Tuf X299 MARK 2, Intel X299, A 2066
NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti 11GB
Crucial ballistix sport 128GB (16x8) DDR4 2400MHZ RAM
if anyone has any suggestions, they'd be welcomed.
Have attached 0.6.3 EFI file.
Thanks.
