Hi all,

I am setting up my first Hackintosh and I seem to be running into the same issues many other people are encountering with MacOS Catalina.
I boot up MacOS from Clover and it just stops at a line stating:
apfs_module_start:1683: load: com.apple.filesystems.apfs, v1412.11.7

My specs are as follows:
CPU: i5 7600K
Motherboard: ASUS Strix Z270E
Graphics Card: ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1070 8GB

I have attached my EFI Folder and was wondering if there are any parts of the config.plist file that I should change to better suit my hardware.

Hopefully it isn't too much of a problem with my hardware.
Thanks in advance :)

You do realise your Nvidia graphics card will never work with full acceleration in macOS Catalina, yes?

High Sierra is the last version to support the Nvidia Web Drivers.

other than that minor fact, I will have a look at your EFI tomorrow.

Ok, but there is nothing wrong with running High Sierra. It is a fully functional OS, alot more mature than Catalina and most if not all of the bugs have been eliminated. The same cannot be said for Catalina!

Hi, im on the same boot and i googled it and found out that you need a SSDT-EC.aml file in Clover->ACPI->patched. I copied the file into it and got stuck anywhere else, after a reboot i stuck again on this even with the file in it.

Dont know if it will work but you can give it a try with the attached file

@Edhawk did you find a fix for this ? Thanks for the amazing help, im new to this forum and saw some threads and almost everywhere you helped the people, amazing work !!
