Hello,

Can someone please advice if the "Sapphire Radeon PULSE RX 590 8GB GDDR5" is supported in Mojave 14.4.4 Hackintosh?

I have a build, which works fine with iGPU at this point.

Update:
I have upgraded to Mojave 10.14.5
I can confirm that the Sapphire RX 580 Pulse works out of the box.
I can also confirm that the Sapphire RX 590 Nitro+ works out of the box.

Yes, the caveat is that you can run in to problems with HDMI if your card does not match the reference port layout. But it usually works just fine with the DisplayPort connections.

Having read up a bit more on the RX 590, I have found that AMD have not set a reference port layout/design. - see this review of the RX 590 for more information - https://www.anandtech.com/show/13570/the-amd-radeon-rx-590-review

AMD seem to have left it to the manufacturers to set the port layout.

What this means is that finding a framebuffer to match all five ports on the card you linked may be more difficult than first thought. Someone may have already customised a framebuffer for this card, I would ask over at Tonymacx86 if you have issues.

Have a read of this post over at Tonymacx86, one of their well known members bought a PowerColour RX590 and had no issues. I think the main thing was that the ID for the card he bought was included in the Mojave AMD drivers. He had graphical issues using the card with High Sierra.

Sorry to enter the topic, if you leave the interest can delete.
What would be the best video card for a Hackintosh today? And with less trouble setting up?

I do not understand this part. Can you please re-word/re-frame the sentence.

I understand.

From my personal experience, the onboard Intel graphics is the most straight forward to use for Hackintosh, because it worked out of the box for me.

The motherboard I used is the "ASRock Z390 ITX Phantom Gaming, Bios: 4.00"

But from what I read on the net, the Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB and similar cards work out of the box as well.

But there is a new RX590 which costs close to the RX580 hence this thread.

Thanks for the compression.

Today I had the opportunity to buy a Radeon VII, it seems to be the best AMD card with 16GB.

It happens that it does not help to be great if it does not work properly with our hackintosh.

So I'm afraid of any change without being sure.

Thank you,
