Hello,

Just build my first hackintosh and I'm a bit stuck.

Everything seems to work fine except for the IGPU. The memory is stuck at 7mb and the screen is glitchy, no matter what I try, can someone help me ?

Lilu is 1.2.5
and WhateverGreen is 1.2

I've attached my EFI folder

I’m in the same boat, didn’t sleep last night trying to fix the issue but no luck, now I’m at work falling asleep everywhere o_O

Same boat here...well close. I have an HP slimline desktop. i7 8700 It is using a propriety HP Menlo motherboard with the H370 Intel chipset. I have everything working well, seemingly except for the Intel UHD 630. I have tried a bunch of stuff. Everything I can find thus far. No progress.

Alright guys, I will try to explain my best for you so that graphics kicks in.
Go over this post by @Hackintosher , you want to look closely to Method 3: (Best) that is what gave me acceleration combined with some kernel patches added to my config.plist.
don't forget to rebuild system library after you edit both kext and restart, always restart after any changes, very important.
Without this patches it will not work, I did the guide mentioned here and did not work, it was not after more research that I found at tonymac on this thread that these kext patches are needed which the guide did not mention.

I keep all my Kexts in EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER
Add both, AppleIntelKBLGraphics.kext and AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext to
EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER after you edited them using Method 3: (Best)
(do not delete them from S/L/E)
I have these two kexts already edited on my CLOVER/KEXT/OTHER with the rest of kexts, you can use mine as a shortcut, put them in S/L/E and OTHER. (I would personally edit my own if I where you cuse I don't know if just copying and pasting mine in yours would work
Note: I don't know if we should keep them in both places, I did and I haven't tried otherwise cause rig is working perfectly fine. I would hate to boot from my usb stick one more time :ROFLMAO:
Here are the patches
In clover configurator, under Kernel and Kext Patches; add
1.
Name

com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI

(These patches are already on my configuration plist which I will include in me CLOVER folder attached here for you to use)

Note: please all the KEXTS and DRIVERS I have
All my kexts are up to date, WhateverGreen.kext includes intelgraphicfixup and shiki from now on, so take those two out cause will not be the latest, and if you keep them with WhateverGreen.kext it will create conflict.
You also want to use the same drivers I have in drivers64UEFI since they have been installed with latest clover. I will attach a pic of clover install in case you want to install them on your own, but you can like I said, just replace yours with mine.
@SoftBear you have my same system so you should be fine, by looking at your KEXTS, I see you don't have FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext and FakePCIID.kext which for little I know, are a must in our cases( once again, use my KEXTS folder) @anthropod yours is prebuild but has the same chipset so I'm guessing will work for you also
Lastly I am not expert on Hackintoshes at all, I just wanted to help cause I have struggled for days having your same problem and I feel the pain:rolleyes:, happy hackintoshing.

Fantastic write up. I think my little HP hear has some flaw/differnce that is making this impossible. Following all of this the system doesn't crash like some methods I've tried, but no acceleration. I may have to return this system or buy a graphics card. Problem is it would have to be low profile to work.

I would return and buy parts to build one, that way you will have better support from others. Research a motherboard that a lot people use, those will be the “easier” to get going.

I think you are right. It was too good to be true. Basically I got the system for the price of a cpu, ram and hardrive. They threw in the case and motherboard... ha! Back she goes.

@anthropod
Here are the parts I bought
MOBO: H370
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQ9XQPP/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_RIAyBb4931524
$89
B360:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQ9SSH7/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_GJAyBb3C46F64
$67
I will return my H370 for a B360 just because I want a miniITX and the miniITX H370 is $40 more than the B360. Both chipsets are supported in the hackintosh world and I like to save up money hahaha so B360 it is

CPU: either i5 8400 or i3 8100. The i3 will save you around $100 dollars, and honestly is plenty powerful, there is plenty of support for it. To get graphics in either you have to do what I explained here above.

RAM:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS79QSP/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_ZNAyBb7CCD2F4
$79 1x 8GB
$87 2x4GB
I got a single 8 cause I will get another one in the future to get 16GB total, my board only has 2 slots so that’s why. Yours is microATX so you could get double 4 and get two more later on to use your 4 slots, or whatever you decide .
Case:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.newegg.com/amp/products/N82E16811119331
$39
Very nice for the price, I like it. I won’t use it anymore since I’m changing to a miniITX
CPU Cooler:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSKY1M4/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_bUAyBbFDE9D24
$25
Keeps my i58400 at 25 Celsius iddleing
The cooler would depend on the case you get, but this cooler and this case works perfect.
M.2 SATA:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9K0N8I/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_TQAyBbEACEB24
$37
I know everybody goes with Samsung and tops brands but I’m cheap and this works, I have the macOS installed in it and is fine.
SSD:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D7VTDNB/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_xRAyBb256BD24
$26
I have Windows in this one, again, I’m cheap!
PSU:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSKY1M4/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_bUAyBbFDE9D24
$65
Now here I don’t ever go cheap, a cheap bad PSU will fry everything in your board. This is a great brand, Gopd plus with 7 years warranty and semi modular, great for cable management.
With the H370 DS3H and i5 8400: $560 total price.
With the B360 DS3H and the i3 8100: $460
So that would be your maximum and minimum approximately. Great hack for under $600
You still need mouse/keyboard, monitor but I’m assuming you have those if not
Monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005BZNDOO/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_0tByBb2639594
$100
I’m using this one and is perfect for my needs
So with monitor and mass storage 1TB HHD +- $50 you are around $700 to $800.

I used your Efi folder but it dit not work with (I'm using HDMI)

So I used the patches from this thread and now it works. Thanks

But now ethernet is not working

I attached my EFI folder for those who want to solve their graphics problems.

I added IntelMausiEthernet.kext and now Ethernet is working.

All thats left is HDMI sound.

I mark this thread as solved as my initial problem is solved
