When your in the clover boot loader, scroll across to options and press enter. Then you type in the “boot args” section

Here is a list of Comands I randomly googled, you will need to type in “-x”

  • -v - Verbose Boot.
  • -s - Boot OS X into Single User Mode.
  • -x - Boot OS X into SafeBoot (Safe Mode).
  • MountEFI=yes/diskX - Mount EFI partition at every boot or from disk X (X = disk number).
  • LogLineCount=0 - Set maximum number of lines for log file, default 0 (no Limit).
  • LogLocation=PATH - Set the path for the log files to be saved.
  • LogEveryBoot=Yes/No- Save log files at every boot.

Ok, I did the boot args -v -s -x but I don't know what to put in for the other ones.
I mean I know LogEveryBoot and LogLineCount but what would be the path for the log location?
After adding the -v -s -x the installation interface didn't load, instead a terminal-like screen showed up. Is that SafeBoot or Single User Mode?
My first instinct is to try to reboot, and attached is what shows up.

After a few reboots, I just hit exit on single user mode and the installation comes up.
Then I try to reboot, the following message shows up:
bash: /private/var/install/shutdown_installer_task: no such file or directory

Any ideas?

No problem mate, main thing is not giving up. I spent a week working on my hack and if I didn’t get help from here I would of given up for sure.

I am glad you stayed with me, this was so worth it. Of course I would love to give back to the community with what I know. How did you find the latest post? Was is something you saw in my logs? Again, thanks so much :)
