Hi there. I made my first hackintosh back in 2017 installing in Sierra which I have been running ever since (10.12.6). I havent really made many changes as its worked fine and I was always worried about messing it up. Now I wouldn't mind upgrading my OS version to Catalina but it looks like I will need to upgrade/change my GPU to AMD to do that.

I'm not as up to date with it all now so could anyone recommend which AMD GPU I can use and what would be better than my current GTX 1070? Also, is there anything else thats required to change before starting the OS update journey?

The drivers for the RX 6000 series of cards are present in the latest release of Big Sur.

However, I don’t know how successful anyone has been getting an RX 6800 to work in macOS.
