Hello,

I have a hackintosh working as intended [USB patch etc ..] apart from WiFi which broke in 10.14.4 . I was using a USB WiFi TP-Link archer ac600 T2U with the beta drivers on TP-Link's website [https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/archer-t2u/] previously on 10.14.3 with intermittent disconnections but after 10.14.4 update, it does not detect it at all.

I have Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I [https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HXCGKZC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1] in my PC and the WiFi + Bluetooth card is Intel AC8260. Can I replace it with a compatible Broadcom one removing the Intel one or does any one have any suggestions for a WiFi USB ?

Surprisingly the Bluetooth works but not the Intel WiFi on the above card that I have installed in PCIe

I am looking for something which works out of the box or drivers available [preferably a cheap alternative] or kexts / DSDT patching if required. Please help :)

Thank you.

Thank you for the advice. The card you suggested me above, will it work out of the box like plug and play in Mojave 10.14.4? or do I need to to patching etc ? Thank you.

What other M.2 cards would you suggest that work out of the box? Thank you.

Yes that Wif/BT combo card will work just fine. It is a Broadcom card that Apple use, it will also work in Windows 10.

Just for clarity if your motherboard has an M.2 slot for the Intel WiFi/BT card then it might be worth thinking about installing a M.2 WiFi/BT card, so you keep your PCI-E slots free. Also as I am sure you are aware the Intel WiFi will never work in macOS, so removing or replacing the existing card will be essential, in case it causes conflicts with your macOS WiFi setup.
